To setup your mailbox.
- Dial the voice mail telephone number which
you were assigned during the setup of your mailbox.
- You will hear a temporary greeting, "this
mailbox has not been setup yet...", during this
greeting press the * key.
- You will then be asked to enter your passcode.
Your temporary passcode should have been provided
with your mailbox number.
- Once you have logged into your voice mailbox for
the first time you will receive a tutorial to assist
you in setting up your voice mailbox. This tutorial
will assist you in changing your personal passcode,
recording your personal greeting onto the system,
and recording your name on the voice mail system.
Make sure to complete the tutorial or you will have
to start over. When you are finished, you will hear
"you have no messages." At this point simply hang
up. Your personal box has now been set up.
- If you have sub-boxes off of your mailbox you
simply follow the same instructions over again. The
only difference is when you dial your voicemail number,
and your greeting begins press the appropriate
extension number. After pressing your
extension return to step 2.
The tutorial will come on with each individual voice
mailbox; therefore you will have tutorial for each
individual mailbox, and each user.
Once you have completed the tutorial your mailbox is
set up and ready to accept messages. Please make
sure that you memorize your passcode, as this is now
your key to your voice mailbox. We don't have access to your passcode, and therefore we can
not retrieve it for you. In the event your
passcode is forgotten, we will reset
your passcode to its default.
